Jacob's Ladder
A fascinating and absorbing toy with an interesting history. Known as ‘Magic Tablets’ by the Spanish and apparently highly favoured by Puritans as a quiet toy with biblical connections! It’s an amazing contraption made of slats of wood bound cleverly together with ribbons. It’s movements seem impossible and you can play tricks with it too.
